SPECIFIC REGULARITIES

 

ORGANIZATION

The Tour de Berlin is supported by the
Berlin Cycling Association e.V.
Paul-Heyse Street 26

organized according to the rules of the Union Cycliste Internationale. The race will be held on July 2, 2023.

 

TYPE OF EVENT

The race is open for riders of the category Women Elite and Women U23. The race is listed in the UCI calendar.
The event is registered as a class 1.2 race. In accordance with UCI regulations, the following points will be awarded for the UCI ranking: 40, 30, 25, 20, 15, 10, 5, 3, 3 and 3.

 

PARTICIPATION

According to art. 2.1.005 of the UCI regulations, the race is open to the following teams: UCI Woman's WorldTeams (max. 3), UCI women's continental teams, UCI cyclo-cross professional teams, national teams, regional and club teams and mixed teams.
According to art. 2.2.003 of the UCI regulations, teams must consist of a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 female riders.

 

RADIO TOUR

The information during the race is transmitted on the frequency 157.550 MHz.

 

NEUTRAL MATERIAL CART

Neutral technical support is provided by Vitta. This service is provided by 3 vehicles.

 

Finishing Time limits

All riders who finish within a time limit of more than 8 % of the winner's time will not be included in the classification. The race jury can extend the finish times in exceptional cases and after consultation with the organizer.

 

WINNER'S AWARD

In accordance with the
UCI Regulations Art. 1.2.112 the following riders must be present at the award ceremony:
The top three finishers of the race
The riders go to the award ceremony stage independently within 10 minutes after passing the finish line.

SPECIAL REGULATIONS

 

ORGANIZATION

The Tour de Berlin féminin is organized by
Berliner Radsport Verband e.V. Paul-Heyse Straße 26 10407 Berlin
under the regulations of the International Cycling Union.
It is to be held on July 2nd 2023.

 

TYPE OF EVENT

The event is open to athletes of the women elite and women U23 categories. The event is entered on the UCI calendar.
The event is registered as a class 1.2.event. In conformity with the UCI rules, points are awarded as follows: 40, 30, 25, 20, 15, 10, 5, 3, 3 and 3 for the UCI ranking.

 

PARTICIPATION

As per article 2.1.005 of the UCI regulations, the event is open to the following teams: UCI Women's WorldTeams (max. 3), UCI women's continental teams, UCI cyclo-cross professional teams, National teams, Regional and club teams and mixed teams.

The technical support service is handled by Vitta.
The neutral support is taken care of by means of 3 cars.

 

FINISHING TIME LIMITS

Any rider finishing in a time exceeding that of the winner by more than 8% shall not be placed. The time limit may, in exceptional circumstances, be increased by the Commissaires' Panel in agreement with the organizer. (Article 2.3.039 of the UCI rules).

 

AWARDS CEREMONY

In accordance with article 1.2.112 of the UCI rules, the following riders must attend the official awards ceremony:
The first 3 of the events
The riders will present themselves at the podium in a time limit of maximum 10 minutes after crossing the finish line.
